Just Heart It

The simple things are so complicated
You don’t know how to comprehend it
It’s not like everything is contaminated
I know sometimes you get over excited
Just take a deep breath to not feel suffocated

The mind is what a mind is
It twists you & then you cry this
You look away & then you blame it
It’s not you, what your mind did
So many excuses to simply hide it
Can you find it, what your mind did?
The fact is you would never find it
Coz everything you do, you confine it
You put the disguise & then you deny it
It tricks you coz you are blinded

In the run to find what your mind did
You keep forgetting you’ve a heart beat
Let me tell you what a heart is
Don’t mind it & just try this
Put your heart in to simply find it
This way you would simplify it
The passion in you is pure heart filled
The love you feel is your heart beat
Heart is all that you ever need
To sense the light your heart is
Just Heart it but don’t always Mind it

My Barrel

“Explosions & explosives
Forget & forgive them
Put an end & archive it”…
… Is what I hear when I said it
Simply don’t IM me coz here I M standing

So you think I’m looking daggers?
Would boil everything til it vapours
Then you didn’t get it right
It was never about the fight

If I did not fire it out
It would’ve burnt me inside out
Now don’t even try to get me wrong
I didn’t fire to burn them down

But if you want me to pretend
Everything is simply perfect ten
Then let’s live the fake lives
Live the lie & put on the smiles

So should I now start to think?
Before the paper gets my ink
But then it won’t be the same
I don’t believe in prefab frame

If I can’t see myself in my eyes
What’s the point of sun & sky?
That stone in the ocean is an average five
But it still lives its purest life

Why to live the life from the shallow?
When the bones are full of marrow
You see, life is everything but narrow
Here I am spreading the ink from my barrel

My Dearest Mom

There was this night so quiet & dark
When I got up from my sleep with the twitchy spark
It was a dream of my beloved mother with me
Everything about it felt intense & so real
If she were alive, I would surely have given her a kiss
Now hear me out as the dream goes like this

She went out to attend some family party
But she came back disturbed & she had lost her sari
The next thing I noticed was quite bizzare
She was trying to park outside her little car
But she had trouble parking it the way we call right
She looked quite disturbed & wasn’t alright
This truck was waiting & giving her some space
But she was so frustrated & wanted her own place in space
She simply then kicked her car to park it right at the spot
It seemed as if her car was made of some thin board

I was standing by the window & was watching this all
She said people were brutal, they made fun & took her sari off
As if she were insane & was out of her very own mind
Humiliation & tears, she was suffocated at that time
She wanted me to go with her to the same hell party
To tell them she’s not alone & she ain’t no patsy
I said no & took mummy inside our home
All I wanted was to protect her & to give her a quiet zone

I woke up in a shock from my so intense dream
I was all shaken & saddened to the deepest of the deep
My mother was suffering clearly in that unusual scene
She was in pain & I think she wanted also to scream
I felt her presence & the pain as if it’s of my own
All I wanted to tell her – I’m right here, you are not all alone
Those people were no strangers but blood related of her own
Tears in eyes, she’s with me even though her body is gone
I love you…I love you, oh my dearest mom
