I primarily write poems about my experiences. An experience could be an emotion, a lesson, self-realization or simply a pure desire. I bring forward the real subjects, which encircle my life & of those related to me. I’m not afraid of writing about provocative matters, which others might say, “it’s not ok”. It’s never about attacking someone but being transparent; to be true to myself. Writing poems is therapeutic, it’s like my own way of healing me. Poem is me.

The background music is composed, mixed & mastered in GarageBand. I’m relatively new to it but I’m keen to learn.

Spoken Word Poetry – Trip-Track (YouTube channel)

Trip-Track is a very special poem to me, that I published on 2nd November 2019. This is what I wrote back then – “Words are simply flowing in me. I feel such a crazy need to scribble this poem. I’m sensing something at subconscious level. I can feel, I’m going to walk on a burning track soon. I don’t know why I feel that. I’m perhaps connected to The Almighty, which is telling me something is coming my way. So better “pack your baggage”.”

On 7th November 2019, my left hand was kinda “sleeping”. First I dropped the car keys & then a plate & later I couldn’t press remote control buttons. I was thinking ‘ok, that’s something new’ – a weird feeling. I contacted acute medical helpline & soon I was rushed to the hospital where I was diagnosed with brain haemorrhage on the right side. It was at this moment I realized why the higher energies made me write Trip-Track & I was like WOW even though I was in OUCH condition.

The bleeding has taken away a few things from me but in return, it has given me the biggest gift, which is to live in the moment & not to worry about the next one – the future. On top, I’m finally able to see & know me. I’m not saying it’s still not challenging for me to live with the critical sickness. But it’s like I had to go through this all to finally wake up from the sleep. Now mindful baby-steps is my leap. Reset button was pressed by the Almighty.

I consider 7th November as my second birth date & that’s why I published my poetry collection – Lightning Rhymes on 07/11/2021. Trip-Track is a part of my book.

My intention isn’t to earn sympathy, that sorry / sad / bad feeling or any of that sort. It’s only a sharing from my heart to yours. I hope you’d enjoy listening to this piece of mine. Thank you very much ✨❤️💫

Another wonderful news I’m sharing with you all…I had submitted my poem to Spillwords Press for their ’13 Days of Halloween’ series in the month of September…I received the reply that it wasn’t chosen due to the high volume of responses…but they have decided to publish it at a later date as a regular submission…I’m delighted & honoured to share that ‘The Haunting Spirit’ is now published…My gratitude to Dagmara, Director of Development (Editing Department) & the entire team @spillwordspress for this kind gesture…Creation did help me in its own way…Spillwords Press has chosen a perfect image for my piece…even though Halloween is long gone, l hope you’d enjoy reading this poem of mine coz it has something more to offer ✨🌟💫

Spoken Word Poetry – Flashing Lights (YouTube channel)

It’s a single take recording of a piece that I wrote in October 2019…this is the longest poem, that I’ve ever written…it’s more of a storytelling – a story of joy, happiness, courage, family pressure, sadness, pain, sacrifice, suffering & trauma and it has come from the seabed of my heart…

Please bear with me as this spoken word is almost 9 min 30 sec long…I know, it’s crazy long; it’s also my very first time…do know that I’m not seeking anything…it’s simply a pure sharing in this open space…

Back in October 2022, Gabriela Marie Milton asked me if I would be interested in submitting a poem for her very first project under her own publishing house, Literary Revelations…I said Yes coz of 2 reasons, even though I had stopped participating in anthologies…I’ve known Gabriela (through WordPress) almost from the very beginning of my poetry journey…she’s a kind hearted person, a very talented writer, a dedicated professional & I have deep respect for her…Secondly, the theme of the anthology – Hidden in Childhood…I felt this poem has found its place…Gabriela was exceptionally kind coz she accepted my poem even though it’s llllonggg…it’s an honour to be published along with several other amazing & talented poets…Hidden in Childhood: A Poetry Anthology is available on Amazon

Wrong

Original poetry

I’ve been punched on the face with guilt several times
I’ve been wronged with fingers, lips & those questioning eyes
I even believed what I was told coz I was weak, I won’t deny
But I’ve learnt with time to stand tall & true in low & high tides

It seems everyone’s life has turned pale coz of my dirty screen
As if I’m the only reason of the suffering, pain & the screams
As if it’s me who’s injecting anger with that pointy syringe
As if I’m the one grilling the skin with my charcoaly heat

I was once asked ‘howcome I haven’t learnt anything when I was about to die?’
And why I was still snapping even when my wires were twisted & dire
At that time I felt as if I was the witness of my own bloody trial
Today that picture has changed & I think, I’m able to breathe the inner silence

If people haven’t confronted you before, then everything has its first time
Try to take off those ego-lenses & look closely in the eco-iris, is my advice
Several answers you might find floating freely in that liquid shine
The rest you’d discover gradually when the self will see the very I

I am neither a RoboCop, who arrests nor a Terminator, who shreds
And I accept that I commit mistakes coz I too have a human shade
But I am constantly upgrading me with the only constant while I defrag
But if you still wanna point finger at me, then be my middle finger guest

Spoken Word – Darkness and Light (YouTube channel)

Dear all,

I’m still recovering from my knee surgery…The cocktail of painkillers is quite heavy & those 40 clips on my knee give the form of a centipede…Quite cool, isn’t it?…Therefore, you don’t see me here quite often these days…But I’ll be back…However, I’ve made a plate of spoken word…I’ve garnished it with fresh herbs…I hope you’d enjoy it…Thank you…Much love 🌟✨💟💫

To me both darkness & light are not only very powerful but they also are the purest forms. Darkness is not negative as it has normally been perceived. Light as well as darkness are heart-openers & unique zen-masters.
