I’m sharing this special moment with you all…a moment in the form of this collab…a collab with this beautiful soul, that goes by the name of Kriti @kriti.nayyar…Kriti is a self-love writer & a true warrior…she’s a wonderful, a very helpful person & a dear friend on top…her writings are not only beautiful, deep & meaningful but they also are filled with her learnings & wisdom…please do visit her page on Instagram to read her poetry…Kriti would soon be joining the WordPress community…so that’s simply great…

Kriti came up with this idea of writing on ‘If I could be a feeling…’…I liked the idea instantly…she then suggested that we must write our individual parts, without sharing them with each other…I loved the idea coz it would mean, that we would express from our hearts in our own ways…at the same time, it made us curious coz we wanted to see how our parts would sound with that feeling of one piece…we didn’t swap our writings back n forth at all…so, it’s a collab of a unique kind…where there’s synchronicity & there are similarities, expressed in different styles…where there’s glimpse of our paths, seen from our sight…it’s like reaching the destination through different & yet similar paths at deeper level…so without any further ado, I’m presenting this collab…I hope you’d enjoy reading & connecting with it as much as we did creating it ✨💟💫

If I could be a feeling…

Transparency I would surely be & shine
It is what I sense instantly
When I close my big brown eyes
There’s no point in wearing an armour
And carrying a sword to slice
Wounds & scars I now wear
As the starry medals with pure pride
The ocean gyres peacefully in me
I float in it & then I simply dive
The sky exists deep within
I fall from there & roar as I freely fly
Pain & love sit quite close to each other
Is what I ve realized
Perfectly imperfect is magical
From higher perspective of this life
This feeling makes me embrace
The sharp & restless edges of mine
There’s no need to look outside
Coz the raw nature is truly inside
Selfless self-love brings me closer to me & you,
It’s love for the very I

If I could be a feeling…

What would I be?
My heart says, “Love you fool”
And I am nodding happily
But then I know
Love loses its charm without trust
So should I be trust?
Yes, that I can be but
Trust is a two way road
There is no point in being someone’s trust
And not having theirs for you!
Then what should I be?
Forgiveness may be
Ofcourse we all need and deserve it
To free ourselves and others from guilt
But again what if I forgive
And the other is not ready to forgive themselves
As it is an inside job too!
So, if I could be a feeling what would I be?
And in this very moment I know the answer
I would be kindness!
Why? Because in my life I have been unkind
And I have also tasted the thorns of unkindness
And ouch! they leave marks like none!
There were times when I wished and begged for it
But then I have also seen kindness
Heard kindness, felt kindness, lived kindness
And it made me more kind in return
There is no wound that this magic potion cannot heal
One may forget your love for them
But one always remembers
Your kind word /gesture when it was needed the most
This is one feeling that is always a one way road
It depends on you and you alone
So, if I could be anything
I would like to be kind!
